HitCheck offers a smartphone app that establishes an individual’s cognitive baseline characteristics, assesses the evolution of those attributes over time, offers an immediate ability for a retest anytime and anywhere a person wishes or needs to test (e.g. feeling forgetful, a sports or work-related injury, battlefield jarring of an IED). By comparing the retest to the individual history and our neurological data store HitCheck presents the person re-testing with clear information on their current comparison to their historical and population baselines metrics. When the re-test deviates sufficiently from expected norms, the HitCheck user is guided to seek additional medical care. In treating neurological conditions early intervention is everything. Helping a potentially concussed athlete, tradesperson or first responder decide whether to persist or seek help at the point of impact or injury is a game-changer in preserving brain health.
