Splash Metrix brings to market the first fitness wearable that leverages the smartwatch to deliver real-time audio feedback and music while swimming. Their patent-pending solution for wireless communication of swimming metrics enables existing smartwatches to overcome water as a communication barrier and allow transmission to a head-worn device with an integrated headphone while swimming. Capabilities will include audible lap count, split time, and guided workouts during lap swim, or pace, distance, and direction to a buoy for triathlons or other open-water events.
